Tutorial
1. Guitar
The song is starting with a guitar chord pattern of chords D, F, C and A# and it goes throughout the end of the song. For this I used the latest Kontakt Library from Chris Hein which is known as Octa and I selected the Stereo Guitar preset which sounds so close to the original one. I also used Acoustic Nylon from Session Guitarist and played these chords just to give a supportive backing.
2.Bass
For recording the Bass just use the same chords which i mentioned earlier. Either you can play the Bass pattern or you can use the preset patterns by the library Prime Bass in Kontakt.
3. Main Lead (Piano and Nylon)
I used a layer of nylon and piano for the vocal part. It was sung by Siddharth Basrur and the voice really apted the Genre of this song. For Nylon tone I used Picked Nylon from Session Guitarist and for Piano i used Noire Pure.
4. Orchestral Drum
While selecting the orchestral drum try to select the one which we usually see in the Hollywood Movies. It really suites for this song. For this i thought of using a library from Kontakt but i preferred the sample packs by KSHMR Vol 3 which has a wide amount of orchestral drum options. Try to select multiple tones and pan those instruments.
5. Snare & Clap
For Snare & Clap also I used the sample packs from KSHMR. I added a big room reverb to both the Snare and Clap. It will give a sound as we hear in the Stadium. For adding reverb I used the Valhalla Room Reverb which is one of the best in the market.
6. Electric Metal Guitar
This is part where the song just uplifts to the scenes in the first look video released. Here just use the basic Metal tone which has a bit of dynamics as well. Also for supportive backing play the same chords in Electric Guitar(not metal) and give it a doubling effect as well. For the Metal Guitar I used Legacy by Shreddage 3 an for the chord section i used Vintage Electric by Session Guitarist.
7. Acoustic Drums
For Acoustic Drums I used a mix of KSHMR loops and the library Thomas Pridgen Drums. The overall drum tone is almost like a rock band type. Also try to mix each elements of the drum separately to give the best result or else there is a high chance of clashing.
